Family Support Funds: The York County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs has access to a small amount of money to help families in need. Respite, incontinence supplies and durable medical equipment are examples of items purchased with these funds. There is a cap on these funds and certain requests are means tested. Only individuals who do not have a waiver slot can utilize these funds. You can fill in the contact form and your request will be forwarded to the Service Coordination Department.

Pro Parents - www.proparents.org - Parents Reaching Out to Parents of SC, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides information and training about education services for children with all types of disabilities.
